OneDrive Access

I can access my OneDrive files from home/office but not while traveling?

Accessing OneDrive files depends on what your company security policies are.
In most cases, if Cyber Tech has audited your O365 tenant and enabled these policies, you will not be able to access OneDrive files outside of the following conditions:
  1. You are located outside the United States or Canada
  2. You are outside an approved location to access company files. An approved location could be your home IP address or something similar.
How to fix this?
  1. If Cyber Tech is managing your tenant, have your manager email us and approve your new location.
  2. Provide us with your new IP address. You can find this by typing: what's my ipv4 in your browser or click the link. It will look something like the image below.
  3. Send that IP to us, once we add it to the exceptions list (usually within 15 minutes) we will notify you to restart your apps and you will be connected.
  4. If this IP address changes, you will need to send us the new one.
